d'Escoto, Inc. is directly responsible for managing various aspects of the program including: ensuring proper funding levels, monitoring and reporting on project expenditures, producing and updating the master program schedule, and coordinating the project dependencies.
An important benefit d'Escoto brings to the project is the development of a customized Program Controls system that integrates with the Oracle financial system and Primavera master schedule. The professional application encompasses the entire program scope and includes systems to track and manage: program planning, design review, estimating, budgets, contracts, changes, project updates, meeting minutes, transmittals, lessons learned, and time tracking. The Program Controls system is currently being used to produce all of the monthly status reports. The CTA quickly adopted the new system because of its ease of use and flexibility for reporting.
As a JV partner in the Chicago Airports Resources Enterprise (CARE), d'Escoto, Inc. provides complete program management services with subsets of construction management services, for all projects associated with the Capital Improvement Programs of O'Hare and Midway International Airports. The programs' workload includes, but is not limited to, tenant projects, operations and maintenance projects.
d'Escoto Inc. provided the Residential Sound Improvement Program (RSIP) Construction and Program Management for 1000 homes throughout Chicago and the suburbs surrounding O'Hare. Homes have been retrofitted with new acoustical windows and doors, HVAC systems, wall insulation and other sound insulating modifications. Our duties included home owner coordination, preparing bid packages, scheduling, design management oversight, construction contract coordination, construction inspection, coordination of building code inspections, QA/QC, contract administration, asset management, and IT management. Every home was turned over on time and on budget.
