Construction Inspection
Construction Inspection work consists of staking, material testing and inspection, documentation of materials and quantities, record keeping and enforcement of specifications applicable to a contractor’s work on construction projects. Inspection services assure clients that contractor work is in full compliance with project plans and specifications. Daily reports are completed to capture quantities, work completed and photographs. Codes and standards for each activity are detailed in checklists, and quality-related issues are tracked until deficiencies and non-conformances are corrected.
d’Escoto, Inc. construction inspectors have extensive knowledge of IDOT specifications and documentation procedures and ICORS. They are trained and certified in several IDOT’s certifications including S-14 Document Quantities, multiple levels of Hot Mixed Asphalt (HMA) and Portland Cement Concrete (PCC), and STPP S-33 Soils testing. Inspectors have the necessary tools and vehicles to successfully perform on these projects.
